What is a PRINCE2 Foundation Certification? It is a certification program for practitioners that structures methods of project management in controlled environments.

dividing projects into controlled and manageable stages is the aim of Prince2 and was developed as a standard of all projects for information systems in the United Kingdom Government.

How to get certified?

To sit for the exam you must have at least passed one of the following:

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
IPMA Level A (Certified Projects Director)
IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
PRINCE2 Foundation.
Project Management Professional (PMP)®

How long is the course?

There are three different levels each with its own time:

ENTRY LEVEL PRINCE2®: 20 to 50 hours
FOUNDATION LEVEL PRINCE2®: 20 to 50 hours
PRACTITIONER AND PROFESSIONAL LEVEL PRINCE2®: @ to # days

Though it is a difficult exam if you have prepared well and have enough experience in the objective testing format you have a high chance of passing the exam.
