Weaning A Toddler – Do It The Right Way

Weaning A Toddler – Do It The Right Way

Weaning a Toddler can overwhelm mothers, especially if it is the first child. It is a transition where a baby moves from breastfeeding to other food. At the start, these can be a small feed of fruit juices and cereals and later some tiny quantity of mashable vegetables.

Some children may resist this transition, and that is where the mothers panic. They feel by not feeding their child other food, and they are not giving the baby proper nutrition. Firstly, a baby can get a full meal from breast milk until he is three years of age. It is also normal for kids to resist the change, so instead of panicking, one must take it slow and encourage the child to eat other things instead of forcing the baby to eat. Eventually, the baby would learn to enjoy different meals with you.
